What this site is

NSU Advising Planner helps you pick class sections before you lock them on official RDS. You can build one or more weekly routines, search the offered-course list, watch for time clashes and same-day finals, estimate your CGPA, and check important Fall 2026 dates.

Always confirm faculty, time, room, seats, and fees on official RDS and the NSU website before you advise.

Planner

The Planner page is the main workspace. You add real offered sections into a plan and see them on a week grid (Sunday to Saturday).

Make more than one plan, for example a main routine and a backup routine.
Add a section even if it clashes. The clash stays visible so you can decide.
The list flags a time overlap and a same-day written final, when that applies.
Same-day finals follow the usual NSU pattern: ST, MW, and RA classes sit on different exam days, split by class time.
Labs are treated as labs. They are not placed on the written-final matrix.
Use the Filter button next to “Show entries” to keep only ST, MW, RA, or any mix of those days.
Search by course, faculty, or time. Zoom the offered table if the text feels small.
Download a PNG or PDF copy of the plan to share or print.
Your plans stay in this browser only. They are not uploaded to NSU.

Offered courses

This page is a live copy of the official offered-course table: course, section, faculty, time, room, and seats. You can search and sort it the same way you would on a large list.

Full sections are marked so you can skip them quickly.
The Changes page shows what was added, removed, or updated in about the last 12 hours.
The list is refreshed from RDS in the background. The “Last Synced” time tells you how fresh it is.

CGPA calculator

Add the courses you have already finished. The calculator uses the official NSU letter scale (A is 4.00, down to F at 0.00).

If you retake a course, only the better grade counts.
F stays in the CGPA until you earn a better grade in that course.
I and W do not go into the CGPA.
Your course list is saved in this browser so you can come back later.

Academic calendar

This page lists tentative Fall 2026 dates: class start, advising windows, payment deadlines, holidays, and last class days for ST, MW, and RA.

Each event shows how many days are left, using Dhaka time.
You can filter upcoming dates, holidays, or payment days.
The registrar calendar can change. Check the official academic calendar before you rely on a date.

Day and night mode

Use the Mode switch in the top bar. The site remembers your choice on this device and uses it on every page.

Your data

Plans and CGPA rows live in your browser storage. Clearing site data will erase them. The offered-course snapshot is a shared public list. This project does not log into RDS for you and cannot register courses. Page visits may be stored so the site owner can see which pages people use: country/city from the network edge, device type, and time spent.
